The eWANITA is an app to educate, empower and facilitate. It serves as the one stop platform for women in the state; which includes news articles, ecommerce vendors and buyers, event programs and much more.
In early 2019, the Sarawak Department of Women and Family came up with eWanita. Their goal: to digitize the Department and women under their care in line with the vision of the Sarawak Government for the Digital Economy. eWanita is a social community platform that can improve communication effectively within the Sarawak Department of Women and Family and with women under their supervision. eWanita aims to become a medium of female empowerment in Sarawak.
